Wangsa Walk is now open

Yesterday I went to a new shopping mall called Wangsa Walk located not far from Carrefour Hypermarket in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur.
From Carrefour Wangsa Maju, I walked to this mall and it took me around 10 minutes to arrive here.
I went there because my friends told me that the mall was open to public since August 28 2009 however I found out that Wangsa Walk is not fully open and there are only few shops open. So I can say that this mall is still not officially although you can go there now to buy the stuff.

I wondered where was the cinema but the security guard there told me that the cinema is still not open yet and I heard the cinema would be the famousTanjung Golden Village (TGV).
There is a popular book shop upstair at level 2 that I really like so much. There are many good books here.

If you just want to buy the fresh products like vegetables, meat, chicken etc don’t go here now as the Cold Storage Supermarket will only be open on September 16 2009 or on the Malaysia Day.
Cold Storage Wangsa Walk is still not open yet
I believe when the Cold Storage is here the nearby Carrefour Hypermarket will feel a bit the competition heat from this retailer.
Just wait and see this September 16 but don’t be so sure. If you want to visit to experience the new environment here just do it.

cold storage can never beat carefour but they can try as they have some nice items that carefour does not carry…
Maybe they can never beat Carrefour . Actually I never heard about Cold Storage before.
They seem to be popular in Singapore, but the Carrefour Wangsa Maju Store Director, Mr Ramesh says the Carrefour will get more customers when more and more people are looking for Wangsa Walk.

What’s so great about carrefour ? The freshness of their fishes are as good as for the cats ! Hopefully , cold storage will do better. The other day , about 3 weeks ago, the toilet at carrefour was in bad state, tap and flush standing toilet bowls were down !At the foodcourt, there were no spoons around !

I’m not really sure when the TGV Cinema will be open at Wangsa Walk Mall but I heard it would be open on January 2010 but do not hope so much for that.

benar kata tapah,saya tak jumpa surau..ketika saya dan rakan2 saya di wangsa walk..kemudian,kenapa kena bayar parking,kan baru buka…kalau dah berbulan baru la charge..
mengapa perlu ditanyakan surau di mana segala? sedangkan org yg beragama lain tidak pulak nk bertanya di mana chapel mahupun temple… sy x rasa soalan itu adalah sesuai di ruangan ini. lebih baik tny pada peti cadangan shopping complex tersebut.
regarding to the versuses between carrefour and cold storage… carrefour masih lagi jadi tumpuan ramai kerna harga barangan yg agak berpatutuan jika hendak dibandingkan dgn cold storage, tetapi cold storage memasarkan barangan2 yg byk tidak terdapat di carrefour. so, pepandai la sendiri yer…
tp most of the shops in the mall are more to chinese merchandise and outlets. i just guess that the mall target customer is more to chinese consumers, malay just so-so…
so the conclusion that i can conclude, carrefour to malays and wangsa walk mall to others (especially chinese)…. enjoy shoppings and always be 1 Malaysia…

for all movies lover, the wait will end soon…heard that TGV will open soonest in March/Apr 2010. Which will be the latest cinema design n well equiped sound system in klang valley! Others are all fully open, foods, bowling, games & family entertainment, karaoke, salons, supermarket and ladies fashion! An international cafe, Austin Chase bistro due to open this month end. Come n take a walk @ Wangsa Walk!

I went to Wangsa Walk and found out that the place wasn’t bad at all. it’s brand new and don’t expect to have all the shops open and running. My favourite store was definitely the Levi’s Factory Outlet. The jeans let me tell y’all, cheap as but ONLY cash. I didn’t have cash on me except my c/cards & left the place empty handed even though i tried a few jeans to kill the shopping crave! LOL!
I’ll be coming back for more, I don’t mind driving far away from Cheras.

Ah Jack u can contact the WW Management at 03-4142 8888 for kiosk rental, it’s now the right time as TGV is opening soon! Wangsa Walk Mall was officially launched by Minister on 4th Feb 2010 with lion dances, cultural dance and ribbon cutting which is also recorded in the Malaysia Book of Record!

hei,hye guys !! so many people ask about surau.and here..i just wanna tell u..act,wangsa walk has surau..but its quite hidden at the corner of shopping complex..just ask the guard there..the surau is very nice..quite small,but u can pray in peacefully..and very comfortable.have a nice day !
