On December 11 2009, I wrote about P1 Wimax HQ where I returned the modem within the cooling off period as my area in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur was not in the coverage. I couldn’t even view the Google site.

They told me that I would get my money (RM100) back..and guess what happened? On February 8 2010, I received a letter containing the HSBC cheque (RM100) and that means P1 Wimax really keep their promise to refund your money if you’re not satisfied with their service.

Then I went to Maybank, deposited the cheque into the Cheque Deposit Machine and got the money credited to my Maybank account 3 days later.

I intentionally made the image blurred. But the main point is that you know P1 Wimax cares about the complaints from customers.

The term WiMAX is still new to me and also to my fellow Malaysians. I don’t know when was the first time you heard about this jargon. Now people in Kuala Lumpur can enjoy this technology too.

What does WiMAX mean? WiMAX is actually the technology to send data via fast and efficient wireless network. This situation seems to be similar with television or radio broadcasting. Luckily we can use this technology to access the internet or precisely the web.

If you’ve used Wi-Fi to access internet before, this WiMAX technology will help you to surf the internet smoothly, more comfortable because the WiMAX range is hundreds of times much longer than WiFi and also stable. Read more on WiMAX internet access in Kuala Lumpur…
