I love to read books but not every kind of book. Usually I read books about travel, pc tips and technology related ones. Do you buy or borrow the books? If you are college student maybe you do that at your college’s library or if you got extra money you may simply buy it.

In Kuala Lumpur there is Malaysia National Library or Perpustakaan Negara Malaysia located just beside Jalan Tun Razak. I still remember the first time I visited this library was in the year 1993 and I was just 14 years old then. The library was still in the completion phase but had already open to public because most of the facilities especially at level 1,2,3 were complete enough to the visitors.

Recently I went there again and surprisingly I thought the National Library there was missing because it is hidden by another buildings nearby. Furthermore as far as I can remember the library’s roof was blue 16 years ago and now the colour is brown.

It is recommended to go there by public transportation as the car park lots there are really limited. To borrow the books, you must be a MyKad holder and the application is free. Just fill in the simple form and after that you can start borrowing the books. Read more on National Library in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia…

If you cannot leave your laptop or your notebooks/netbooks because you’re strongly bonded to it, the chance is that you know a lot when it comes to free WiFi internet.

I myself don’t have a laptop, but I can access the free WiFi at the hypermarket near my house because they provide the people two computers (WiFi enabled) free of charge.

The WiFi is easily accessible in Kuala Lumpur especially in downtown area. You must be thinking that I’m going to tell to go to StarBucks or similar ones to get the free WiFi.

Now you can even access the free WiFi at Mamak stalls. I don’t know whether this info will startle you but this is real.

I know it maybe hard to for you to manually find the WiFi hotspot in your area especially if you never heard of their existence and you maybe depend to the info from your friends etc to know one of the hotspots.

I admit I don’t know exactly the Malaysia law about accessing the free WiFi particularly in Kuala Lumpur and generally in Malaysia because I heard in USA you can end up in the court or lock up for illegally accessing the internet using the WiFi. Read more on Free WiFi in Kuala Lumpur…
