Beside using the bus or taxi, another public transport you can use in Kuala Lumpur is KL Monorail. The monorail goes to the popular places like Bukit Bintang and the fare is really cheap.

This is the convenient way to travel by public transport as you don’t need to wait or get stuck  in the boring traffic jam when you use the bus or taxi.

One of the interesting facts about Kuala Lumpur monorail is it began it operations on August 31st 2003 and the date was the Malaysia National Day.

The total distant of the rail is scarcely 9 km and it also takes you to KL Sentral. However you still need to walk a bit to KL Sentral Station and this station is the hub where you can easily go to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or you can board the train run by KTM.

You can also easily find the cheap garment sellers at the roadside of Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. Many supermarkets cannot stay long in business here due to the fierce price competition with the small shops around here. So that’s why you can see Mydin Store is still there because they apply the wholesale price of their products.
