RapidKL Pass

If you use the public transports like bus or LRT train regularly you may have spent certain amount of money on it depending how far your destination.
In the Kuala Lumpur city, RapidKl provides bus and LRT train transportation for the KLites.
Actually you can save your money on the fare up to 50 % if you use the RapidKL pass which you just need to buy the new one each and every month.
RapidKL monthly travel pass (Tempatan)
For example if you board the Tempatan bus everyday, you need to pay around RM60 per month assuming you just go from home to your destination and vice versa.
However you can save money a bit when you buy the monthly RM40 RapidKL travel pass and you can use it how many times everyday till 11 pm.
As I told you earlier, this Tempatan RapidKL pass is only valid for routes traveled by Tempatan buses.
There are also RM100, RM150 and RM50 RapidKL pass. The RM100 pass can be used for Tempatan, Bandar and Utama buses while the RM150 one is similar with the former but you can board the LRT train (Kelana Jaya and Ampang line) and also the RapidKL Ekspres Buses.
For the disabled, elderly 60 years old and above as well as school students, there is a special pass that cost only RM50 per month.

`On 28th May 2011 around 10.30 am. I and 3 of my children took a bus no U35 from Pandan Indah to Bukit Bintang (Pizza Hut), As I and one of my daughter does not have a ‘Touch n Go’ card so I have to purchase it. I have bought 2 cards with RM10 each.When we get down of the bus my daughter told me that her card was charge more that the actual amount. When I went home. I call Rapidkl servising counter and they ask me to call back on Monday. Therefore. on Monday I call them and inform them about my case but they inform me that they did not have the record yet and ask me to call back later. I have been follow this case for so many days and today 7th June 2011 they call back to inform me that I can not get the refund. What a silly answer is it? They said i cannot get the refund because when I purchase the card I have been charge the fare when the card is out and why I go to scan the card again and when getting down the bus their record show the fare is RM 0.80 instead of RM1.50. I don;t know why this case happen and who to blame. Please take note of the case and the card siri no is 1191287437. Hope to have a reply soon.Thank you.
Where to do the rapid monthly rm 100 pass???

I have a 30day RapidKL Pass for RM150.00 that could be used for LRT and Rapid Bus. Some of the buses provide machine for RapidKLL Pass but some don’t have. They have the new “Touch & go”, which when used rejects at LRT. Every time I have to rectify it at the LRT counter.
One LRT counter officer told me to add RM5.00 to the pass but that I have to do it at the Bus. When I tell the bus driver, they say they can’t do it
What is your expert advice on this.
