NetKL | How bad or good this webhost is?

NetKl Network at NetKL.com is one of the webhosts in Malaysia that provides the services to webmasters to host their blogs, websites etc.

I checked the info about this webhost using WhoIs and found out that their contact address is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  They offer super cheap and reliable web hosting from just RM6 per month for basic web hosting account that allows one MySQL database to be created.

I myself use their web hosting to host this blog and what does it mean is actually I simply renting the hard disk space on their computer (server) to put all my blog files there.

I really like this webhost as they will response to you as soon as possible when I have problems or difficulties regarding my web hosting account. Furthermore their hosting is fast and till now I have had a few times when their server was down due to the unavoidable reasons. But luckily the problems were quickly resolved.

I first started using this web hosting service on November 2007 for my first domain name which now I longer use. This PawiBlog.com is still new and just a few months old.

If you have limited budget I recommend you to use their web hosting and fortunately because they allow you to configure the DNS settings in the web hosting account, you can always move your site or blog to other webhost if you need to do so in the future.

NetKl also offer to register the new domain name for you at the prices starting from RM29.95(less than USD10) per year and you even get the domain for free if you pay the web hosting for full one year which the cheapest is RM60 for basic hosting.

Before you jump into any web hosting, you must think how many bandwidth transfer and disk space do you need and you can guess this by expecting how many visitors do you expect to visit your site in a month or how big your blog is?

If you offer free downloads, you need to get ready to use lots of bandwidth. If you are thinking to go to other webhosting because they offer so called unlimited bandwidth or disk space, you must be careful.

To me it is just the marketing trick because they know you won’t use that much and you probably end up paying for what you don’t really need. You yourself know what you need and just to inform you that ‘You Get What You Pay For’ but personally I think from my humble point of view, I get more than what I pay here at NetKl.
