National Library in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

I love to read books but not every kind of book. Usually I read books about travel, pc tips and technology related ones. Do you buy or borrow the books? If you are college student maybe you do that at your college’s library or if you got extra money you may simply buy it.
In Kuala Lumpur there is Malaysia National Library or Perpustakaan Negara Malaysia located just beside Jalan Tun Razak. I still remember the first time I visited this library was in the year 1993 and I was just 14 years old then. The library was still in the completion phase but had already open to public because most of the facilities especially at level 1,2,3 were complete enough to the visitors.
Recently I went there again and surprisingly I thought the National Library there was missing because it is hidden by another buildings nearby. Furthermore as far as I can remember the library’s roof was blue 16 years ago and now the colour is brown.

It is recommended to go there by public transportation as the car park lots there are really limited. To borrow the books, you must be a MyKad holder and the application is free. Just fill in the simple form and after that you can start borrowing the books.
You may confused at first, as far as I know we (adults) can only borrow the books from the nearby building (Wisma Sejarah) located behind the main National Library building. If you are looking for computer books you maybe upset because most of them are outdated.
However at the lobby of main building, there are a few computers provided for public to access the internet for free even if you are not the member. But the usage is limited one hour only. I used that computer to view the Youtube site but the security guard there politely asked me to close that site (Maybe because of bandwidth transfer or something else).

At this library you’re allowed to borrow up to 3 books only and up to 2 weeks.
