Lotus Hotel near Jalan Masjid India, Kuala Lumpur

Lotus Hotel which is not far from Jalan Masjid India (formerly called Little India Kuala Lumpur-  before Brickfields hold that status till  today) is a new budget hotel in this area.

Well this just not about the cheap or budget hotel but it’s also about the services or facilities provided by the management here like the car park, elevator which seems very basic but it helps a lot.

Apart from that, just like ‘any’ other hotel, you can get the dry cleaning service, safe box to keep your valuable belongings as well as the access to the internet (charges could be imposed).

The convenience of being near to the Masjid Jamek LRT Station (this station is also your gateway to KLCC building or Petronas Twin Towers)  is the advantage of staying here beside the budget price offfered by this 2-star hotel.

Though Jalan Masjid India could  be unpopular to many people as it lacks prominent shopping buildings here, the best part is the area offers the great for value accommodation.

While Pudu Sentral Bus Terminal (mainly for North and Central bound express buses ) is just mere 10 minutes walking from the place.

If you still wonder, Jalan Masjid India is famous for its textile products as well as the mosque (Masjid India – and not to be confused with nearby Masjid Jamek)  where this street gets its name.

The textile products here sold at cheap prices and even the ‘branded’ hotel like Citin Hotel offers the budget room rates.

If you feel like going outside of Jalan Masjid India area – perhaps to more popular Bintang Walk (Jalan Bukit Bintang) can be your choice as Bukit Bintang houses the Pavilion KL, Fahrenheit 88 – where UNIQLO is located.

As the LRT trains don’t go there, you can pick a taxi (and make sure it’s metered one).
