Hari Raya cards are now obsolete?

Hari Raya Puasa or Aidilfitri 2011 is around the corner and starting now the Muslims are going back to their hometowns or villages to celebrate this festival with their families.
In Kuala Lumpur here, it is obvious that people are getting busy preparing for the upcoming month of Syawal (in Islamic calendar) as the date for sighting of the new moon is set on August 29th 2011.
If the new moon is sighted on that date, that means it’s already the first day in the month of Syawal..meaning the actual starting of Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2011 (however the today’s generation might say the first Syawal would start in the next morning) .
Ok let’s now talking about Hari Raya card..Perhaps 10 years ago, people were sending and receiving lots of Hari Raya cards..I mean the physical ones.

Example of physical Hari Raya card
But today with the presence of the smartphones, Hari Raya cards are seem to be forgotten as one can simply choose from the many ready-made digital Hari Raya card and send it via MMS (Multimedia Messages Service) that can be delivered in just mere seconds.
Though we can see people still buying these cards..they probably used in the offices where the card is sticked on the softboard etc to convey the message..Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Hari Raya cards just look like things for exhibition though this statement is quite outrageous.
It looks like the trend change so fast..it’s life after all.
However..this is just my personal view about the real Hari Raya cards today..you definitely have your own point of view.
The cards are not obsolete yet but it’s underway for it..just the time will tell us
Last but not least..Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all Muslims…
