Google Street View is not far from Malaysia
Have you ever heard about Google Street View? This is one of the Google’s sophisticated tool you can use to view the map in 3D world.
You can view any places in the world like you were there. But currently this service is still limited to certain countries in the world.
Need to view Kuala Lumpur with this Google Street View? Unfortunately you cannot do it now as this service is still not available in Malaysia or in the KL city.
But Singapore, the Malaysia’s neighbour has been included into Google Street View. You can see the Johor bahru city or JB from Woodlands, Singapore below.

Also you can notice the Johor Causeway that connects the Singapore and Malaysia.
One day, you can also enjoy ‘traveling’ in Malaysia or Kuala Lumpur just by using Google Street View.

Is Malaysia safe right now for foreigners? This is a serious question and I ask it in light of all the media reports of problems. Thanks for any info.
Actually the situation is under control. As a multi-racial country, people here understand the sensitivity of other religions. This issue is really serious. The Malaysia government won’t compromise and definitely will take action against those who were responsible causing the chaos. Anyway Malaysia is safe and you should not worry about this.
Is all the streets in Malaysia can see from Google street?
Some local websites are already developing Malaysia Street View but on small scale basis – see http://www.disini.tv

@China Law:
Malaysia is definitely a safe country for foreigners. Why? I’ve lived there for nearly a decade and Malaysia seems to be a great country for expats! Although crime rate can be high near the Johor Bharu region, people from all walks of life are still getting along well. I would suggest that if you were to plan to live in Malaysia, choose K.L.
@China law, Penang is the one you should consider, seaside, mountain, friendly people, 75% is chinese citizens are living in the Penang island, etc…
