Durian in Malaysia

In Malaysia durian is the favourite fruit and during that fruit season you can see lots of hawkers selling these fruits. Durian is so popular and is regarded as ‘King of Fruits’ in Malaysia and if you wonder why, it is because the delicious and sweet memorable creamy taste of durian.
But you need to get ready getting your body hotter because durian is well known to make this condition but don’t worry because unlike rambutan the heat will be released faster from your body.
If the flesh is too long left, it becomes sour but it still can be consumed as ‘tempoyak’ along with pounded chillies and shrimp paste. The chillies taste great when added with tempoyak and eaten with rice.

But the less known fact that durians contain lots of cholestrol doesn’t prevent Malaysians from enjoying it because of the temptation when seeing the attractive durian flesh.
