In Malaysia you will notice there are many night markets here. So no wonder you too can find one in Kuala Lumpur. Usually the night market starts at around 6 pm to 11 pm and sells lots of Malaysia delicacies as well as household products.
Night market is locally known as ‘Pasar Malam’ and very popular among Malaysians especially those who want buy fresh chicken, vegetables etc.

Lots of people go to Pasar Malam in Taman Setapak Jaya, KL
What I love about Pasar Malam is I can buy and enjoy my favourite food like Apam Balik and Murtabak. If you are non-Malaysian and never been here you may wonder what are the food I mentioned just now. The first picture above is the image of Pasar Malam held each and every Saturday night in Taman Setapak Jaya, Kuala Lumpur.

Apam Balik (near the hands)
What I can tell you about apam balik is; it is just a sweet pancake with the corn, coarse grounded peanuts and sugar inside it. When I go to Pasar Malam, usually I buy one because I don’t want to miss the delicious and sweet taste and this Apam Balik costs RM2.
Another thing I like is Murtabak that is similar to Roti Canai ( type of pancake) but this is one normally has meat or chicken curry mix with egg as the filling. You can find the spicy one or with the sweet taste.

The hot murtabaks are being cooked
Don’t forget to pay a visit to one of the night markets or Pasar Malam in this country when you visit Malaysia and I bet you will arrive in Kuala Lumpur soon.

In the past, this building seemed to be the ‘white elephant’ project but when there are Malaysia Immigration Department and also Malaysia National Registration have their offices here, the Wisma Rampai can be said get the new spirit and life.
More and more people coming here especially to go to the two government offices above either for identity card or passport needs.

The parking area is located under and ouside the building and the parking lots seems to be limited and you’d better going there earlier especially in the morning.

Maybe you wonder where actually the Wisma Rampai? You can recognize it by looking at its unique design (compared to other building around the area) with old looking white paint. The opposite of Wisma Rampai is Esso petrol kiosk.
