Pangkor Island in Perak or locally known as Pulau Pangkor is among the popular islands in Malaysia. The island has a few beaches that attract lots of tourists here.
If you want to to go to the Pangkor Island, one of the methods you can use is by using the express bus to Lumut (the nearest town to Pangkor Island which also act as the gateway to the island) which the fare will cost you around RM 25.
As of this writing, Puduraya is still under renovation and you need to go to the temporary bus station near Bukit Jalil National Stadium to buy the bus ticket to Lumut.
From Lumut, you need to board the ferry and there are 2 companies that operate the ferry service there; Mesra and Pan Silver. The ferry fare is Rm 10 and the ticket is actually two-way ticket which you can reuse to go back to Lumut town from Pangkor Island anytime you want.

If you haven’t booked the chalet or hotel room yet upon arriving Lumut, you can find the travel agent in the town and you’ll notice there are many of them willing to help you. Just be selective as you can always find the cheaper (or reasonable) rate one for your accommodation. Read more on Kuala Lumpur to Pangkor Island…

Have you ever heard about Google Street View? This is one of the Google’s sophisticated tool you can use to view the map in 3D world.
You can view any places in the world like you were there. But currently this service is still limited to certain countries in the world.
Need to view Kuala Lumpur with this Google Street View? Unfortunately you cannot do it now as this service is still not available in Malaysia or in the KL city.
But Singapore, the Malaysia’s neighbour has been included into Google Street View. You can see the Johor bahru city or JB from Woodlands, Singapore below.

Also you can notice the Johor Causeway that connects the Singapore and Malaysia.
One day, you can also enjoy ‘traveling’ in Malaysia or Kuala Lumpur just by using Google Street View.
