Bookfest Malaysia 2011 at KLCC, Kuala Lumpur

Whether you’re a book lover or book retailer, you’ll be definitely happy to learn that the Bookfest@Malaysia is coming back on these dates (27 August till 4 September 2011 Time: 10 AM – 10 PM) and the place or venue for this great book fair is at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, KLCC area and for sure in Kuala Lumpur city.
For total of 9 days the people in KL can attend this event though it’s the ‘Balik Kampung time’ as Hari Raya Aidilfitri is around the corner and definitely this event is also held during the school holidays.
One Book One World -The meaning?
You can be rest assured that the timing is perfect for those who don’t like the traffic jam especially on 30 August onwards.
Just for info..the admission is not free…however you just need to pay a measly RM2.50 per person (Free of charge for senior citizens and students under 18-year old).
As this event is organised by Popular Book Company (Malaysia), it’s no wonder it’s a big event and worth to go.
The books here are divided into Chinese and English sections and as usual like previous years, you can find not only the books but also the stationery products etc.
If you’re coming from outside Malaysia, this also your chance to explore and travel around Kuala Lumpur city but you could be a bit disappointed to experience the hustle and bustle of the city as Kuala Lumpur is probably ‘silent’ when you arrive here.
