Best Denki is the popular name for selling electrical and electronic appliances. Denki is the Japanese term for electrical appliances (Den means current or electric while Ki means machine).
Best Denki seems to be more popular in Singapore rather than in Malaysia. In Kuala Lumpur, one of the Best Denki outlets can be found at Berjaya Times Square.

Best Denki have been well known for its bad services; delivery and commitments as well.I have purchase goods from BD and have been 3 times delayed delivery; on delivery date, incomplete delivery was made. No follow ups and update from the customer service. I find this is the only store which offer such bad service. Please take care when choosing your shop. BD is not a good choice.

I strongly agree of what Chua said is true about Best Denki… If any of you have money and want to buy electrical applicances, try look for other sony centre, don’t look for Best Denki…..because you will surely regret..
Unlike any other electrical stores, Best Denki Malaysia will only know how to ask payment from the customer first and after payment has been made by the customers, customers’s importance will be thrown aside as Best Denki Malaysia will not be committed in making sure that the customers will be receiving their goods on time!!
Below is my tragic and unpleasant story ( I do hope Best Denki Malaysia will take a look at this complain)t:
My name is Jason. I bought a 52” sony bravia TV EX700 at Best Denki, 1 utama about one and a half month ago.. When i purchased the 52″ sony bravia EX700 TV, i have been told that there will be a free home theatre system that comes along with the TV.. Same with Chua, there have been 2 times delayed on delivery date …
Moreover, On the same delivery date, only I have been told that the home theatre system is running out of stock and they promised that they will deliver the home theatre system when the stock is ready…
But sadly until now, i still have not received my free home theatre system…I have waited foolishly because all the staffs working in Best Denki just will not bother to follow up for you of when the electronic goods will be delivered to you.. You have no way to follow up with them because all the staffs are just to ‘lazy’ in picking up the phone..In order words, the phone number at Best Denki, 1 utama is useless afterall.
There was once when i managed to call up Best Denki, 1 utama. Shockingly i was told by the one of the staffs at Best Denki, 1 utama to come and collect the free home theatre system on my own! Can u believe this? Customers are being asked to come to the store and arrange their own transportation to deliver the home theatre system..Hey i am a customer here, this should be Best Denki’s job in being able to deliver the goods to the customers..Is it because Best Denki Malaysia don’t bother to deliver the home theatre system to the customer just because it is a free unit????
I argued with him and in the end he promised that it will be sent to me on the 25th May 2010 before 6pm..On that evening, I waited at home foolishly and sadly i didn’t receive my home theatre system. i have been fooled by Best Denki Malaysia 2 times in a row. It seems like Best Denki Malaysia enjoy fooling the customers around!!
On 4th June 2010, I managed to call up Best Denki, 1 utama again and they promised that it will be sent to me on 6th June 2010, Sunday (from 4pm – 7pm).. I do hope Best Denki Malaysia don’t keep making fool of the customers and I do hope i will receive my home theatre system soonest possible..
Because of this tragic and unpleasant incident, I vowed that i will not buy anymore electrical goods at any Best Denki Outlets for the rest of my life. I am just too afraid..

I had my first bad experience 2 years ago when I first bought my Samsung LCD, which gives free Home Theater Set. I had to make a lot of hue and shouts for about 1 month then only the problem was settled!
Last month, I called again as my Samsung LCD, of which I had extended warranty, is giving some problem. Again very bad responds. I gave them my DO number and they seem to take umpteen years to track it. Until now I have to live with the problem – issue still unresolve!!!!!
Now my Electrolux washing mashing, which also have extended warranty, is giving problem. Until now… after 3 calls no responds. I AM REALLY SICK OF IT!!!!
When is Best Denki going to solve my problem… GOD KNOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I bought both my Samsung LCD and Electrolux washing machine, I was told to extend the warranty and if anything happen, I would be replaced with a new one. Now… when I called both Samsung and Electrolux, both ask me to refer to Best Denki. THE SALESPERSON TOLD ME A VERY BIG LIE!!!!

just now in best denki the mines,i was about to buy a sony mp3 player..the model is not the latest one but i kind of familiar with the unit..when i ask the sales girl to view the product,i was very surpriced that the box already open and the earphone missing..the earphone that came along with this product is an earphone worth of RM200..when i ask about the earphone,the salesgirl said to me that she will gave me the RM25 earphone and that is the standard gift recently..what shock me the most is that,another salesman told me that the original earphone was stolen by the staft there..just imagine,u r trying to sell a product that is already open by the worker there?????the most interesting part is,when i ask wether they have or not the original earphone,here was the answer from the salesgirl “we have it,but only one side of the earphone function,you want it or not?”..best denki is the worst service i’ve ever dealt with

SAME PROBLEM WITH ME.
I brought Sony home theater + Blue-ray player with free gift Original blue-ray disc. When they called me for arrangement for delivery, i was told them with the free gift disc send together with home theater.They said all right.
When they deliver that day i found out they are no bring the free gift, so i sign on acknowledgment receive good & write message : “NO RECEIVE THE ORIGINAL BLUE-RAY DISC”.
After 2 days i still no receive any respond from them. Then, I called to One Utama Best Denki give them my DO no to check the status. They feeling like do not know my case. The person in-charge say my DO which is no status any free gife. I strictly fax the DO to him for review. After that i still no receive any respond from them.
Until now i m write this comment still no settle yet. I very very disappointed to this THE BIG company in Japan “THE BEST”.

Please think twice before you made any purchase from Best Denki (should be call Worse Denki).
I bought a Philips Blueray DVD player (BD3100) just a few weeks back for the Price RM799 and now they put them on sales for RM599. They knew this item will be on sales but they won’t advise you.
I went to complaint to the manager, and he won’t even apologize and tell me to go ahead to sue them.
Apparently they are cheating the customer.
I’m very unsatisfy and dissapointed!
I’m now writting to NCCC to file a complain.
Please don’t ever support Best Denki!

The best has yet to come… When I called Best Denki Penang Gurney Plaza Branch and talked to Mr. Khoo, believe it or not, he asked me (on a higher tone) to call Samsung personally today and it is my duty to do so!!! How fantastic this is!!!
I was being told to wait until 31/7/10 by Samsung that I would be replaced with a brand new TV set if nothing is done by 31/7/10.
But before this after my posting on 23/6/10 as above, I thought my problem will be solved as I had received not less than 5 calls promising action. But this is the treatment – ALL TALK AND NO ACTION!!!! – that I get, after being so patient. I gave Mr. Khoo that I expect action to be done by 15/8/10 if not I will take action – I may report to CAP and will be writing to NCCC to file a complain – or I may take LEGAL AGAINST BEST DENKI!!!!
ALL I WANT IS ACTION TO BE TAKEN IMMEDIATELY!!!!! Is this too much to ask for.

I agree to all the complaints posted above and ppl – please think properly if you really wan to buy things from Best Denki, the after sales service is very bad.
I bought a Pioneer DVD early beginning this year and not more than 3 months, the power supply was spoilt and i had to wait approximately 1 month for the fix; then brought back home and used not more than 2 months, there was something wrong with the reader and all the DVDs couldn’t be played smoothly (My Philips DVD player works just fine with the same DVD).
Just now (17 Aug 2010, 9pm), I sent back to Best Denki (Tropicana City mall) for repair, and there’s 1 lady said that i m not eligible for warranty as I do not have the Best Denki Form or official receipt, the most unbelievable and unacceptable thing she told me that they do not keep customer purchase record and there’s no way i m eligible for free repair. Hey, come on, i am talking about purchase not more than 1 year, you are saying Best Denki doesn’t have the ability to own a storage server to store the record? All lame excuses for not wanting to provide after sales service.
The most annoying thing is she said:” This DVD is very cheap, RM170 only, if sent for repair sure will cost more than the price of a new one” . . . . i was like, WTF, does she know what her role and responsibility is??
In the end, without saying much, she just walked away without wanting to solve the problem.
Nevertheless, thank god that i only spent RM199 as a lesson. Money well spent i guess.

Yesterday 30/08/10 I went to BD Mid Valley and saw the 42″ LG Plasma TV (42PJ350). It stated there original price RM2799 but promotion only RM2199. Beside the TV is a small card that promoted something free if you purchase it. For the 42″, there is a free DVD player. Looked tempting, I asked the staff there and they said the free give is true and the RM2199 is for those paying using credit card. However, if I buy in cold hard cash, it is only RM2099… and the free gift as well. I dun have money at that time so went home high spirited.
Today 31/08/10, I went to 1U branch to buy the TV. I have prepared all the cash… the staff there said cash or card its still RM2199. Kidding me! Same company different story? Fine, since I’m already determined to buy, I use card instead of cash. Then where is the free gift as written by the side of the TV… the staff said not relevant…WTF???
I want to file for a complaint…but this bloody BD don’t even have a website!!! DAMN YOU… big organization but cheat like this? I’m gonna file a complaint with the consumer tribunal. I have proof that the free gift does exist!!!

I brought Samsung LCD + Blue-ray player with free gift Samsung HP on 29 August 2010 from BD 1 Utama. When they called me for arrangement for delivery, i was told them with to send BD Player send together with free gift as their staff said a new stock coming on that day.They said all right.
When they deliver that day i found out they are no bring BD and free gift,only tv. so i just pay the amount of the LCD and sign on acknowledgment receive good & write message : “will pay full amount when receive all 3 items”. They refuse to take it and ask me to pay full amount, their boss call me and simply i just said u can take the tv back and refund my money. After half an hour of shouting.. they agree
I’m greatly disappointment with kind of service I’ve gone through & what surprise me is it come from a company with such a good reputation & image. Until now i still no receive any respond from them. To be frank, now I’ve second thought about this & I don’t even think I’ll buy any thing from Best Denki again after such horrible experience.

I faced the same problem as most of you when I bought the LED TV and washing machine from Best Denki KLCC. Worst case the person who entertained my complaint is their store manager, Steven. Empty promise by call me back to follow up the case, instead I have to make the call to him to follow up and make sure action is taken.
If the store manager also having same kind of attitude what can you expect from other staffs!!!

Worst customer service ever!! It took them freakin 6 months just to fix a laptop’s keyboard! asked me to pay RM20 for the keyboard replacement cos they said it’s not covered by the warranty. No follow-up calls to let me know what’s the latest status with the laptop. in the end, they return my laptop with NO ADAPTOR! those idiots lost it!

Hahah..very funny. Last week, i went to one of the store in MVM. After getting to know the function of the machine, i asked for the new set. The sales gal told me that there are no more stock! She added by saying even in Jusco MVM also u cant find the stock! Shocking..if it is out of stock, u should not display the unit!..
Funny and stupid! Plus her attitude is not polite..she was doing her nail while letting us to view the item! and the other 2 sales gal were at the back looking at her polishing her nail in front of all the customers!
Where is the store manager? Is he/she sleeping in the store? it was weekend and lots of customer walking inside! OMG…

Wow! These comments are real eye openers. I was just about to go to Best Denki to check out some LED TV. Now I think, I’ll be better off doing business with some small time obscure electrical shop in Puchong.
Guys, listening to all the complaints, I believe we should lodge the complaint to Consumer Tribunal rather then keep it to ourselves. Understand that it would be a hassle to make a complaints to tribunal but this is our rights and we should voice it out to the proper channel. Hope with this move will teach them how to deal with the customer. My two cents.
I guess i am a bit luckier then the people above. I was seriously looking into purchasing a Samsung LED TV from Best Denki Summit USJ. I first went to the lobby area where BD were having a Samsung LED TV promotion. I asked about pricing as well as demo a particular feature that i knew existed on the the TV. The sales person first couldn’t find the remote, then came back and told me that the feature was not available. I pointed it out to him on the brochure that it existed and he agreed. Next he told me to go to the BD outlet to get a proper demo. Went in but the two sales person were on the couch watching a movie and did not bother about me. When i finally got one to pay attention he couldn’t demo me the TV as he was not familliar with it. He seemed irritatted that i disturbed him from his movie. I walked out in disgust and will never ever consider buying anything from BD. Truly a disgrace to a great Electrical Store from Japan!
I guess luckier then the people above. I bought 42″ Philips LCD TV from Best Denki from Mid Valley branch 2 years ago, come with FOC Home Theather System. They delivery the stock as date that I required and also FOC HDMI cable, 5 yrs free warranty.
Luckily I had 5 yrs free warranty. Cause the TV was ‘color run’ and I went to One utama branch to make a report. Within 7days, Best had arrange their contractor came to my house check for the TV and also lend me an sharp 32″ LCD TV for temporary used.
About 3 weeks later, my TV was back. Best had called me up to double confirm the TV is it function ok, after that, they has courier the original warranty receipt to me.
i got better story….. i bought 2 epilators for my mom n sister. i asked them to wrap it for me as it is for a gift.
Worst was when my sister open her gift box…it was EMPTY!!!
i went back to BD KLCC and went to see this guy(duty manager i think) …he doesnt have the time to listen to my problem and he looks as if im lying
i told him to check on the CCTV coz someone might taken the epilator while wrapping the box.. He answered: there’s no cctv at the counter : BULLSHIT
he asked me to come a day after as the supervisor is not in.. that duty manager promised me to compensate on my transportation yada yada yada.. but when i came back to the shop, the other staff told me he’s on MC. WTF. Where’s your promises. But in the end, the staff just gave me the epilator.And walk away from the counter without saying anything to me.

i extremely agree all of ur comments..best denki at gurney plaza is really sucks.. i buy a product frm there last year..but unfortunately the product broken ytd..but it is still under warranty period(warranty period 24months)..when i take my product to there to repair, they told me that they just receive warranty in the period of 1 YEAR!!! but the warranty card hv write that the warranty period is 24MONTHS!!! they think out a sucks and bad reason for me, and dunwan receive my broken product to repair!! KNS!!
Reading through all the comments, Best Denki (BD) still not improved. No one from BD has the balls to respond. I have many expat friends who told me that BD is the place (all aspects) to look for electrical appliances. My theory –> They serve expats better than the fellow Malaysians as they assume expats has bigger pocket than we do. Not trying to provoke anything, but typical Malaysians who respect expats more than the locals.. Let’s boycott them..
p/s- I never buy at BD cause I find that their prices are always on the higher side. I went there just to see the displays and ended up buying at the small shops where I can save hundred bucks…
wow… after reading this only i realise not only me facing the poor service from bd. more worst i signup their extended warranty. if i would know this earlier i would consider to get it else where. i bought a philips air cleaner 8 months ago, but it starting sparking in the led light then i can smell something burning. the staff say warranty take 1 month and someone call me when ready. wait 6 weeks, no body call i went to midvalley ask they say not ready and said supplier delay them, ask me wait again. 8 weeks went again not ready, i scold them but they seem not their fault. 10 weeks only i get my cleaner, but after bring home notice the behind cover broken most probably the power plug cause it when they stock the warranty. and now… i again the sparking smell…

Recently I bought a shaving machine from BEST KLCC and when came home we discovered that to use the machine for 30 minutes we have to charge it for 12 hours. I went back to try to replace it with another brand that can serve me for more than 30 minutes and the guy over there refused to entertain me and said we will not change it then I said I do not want this set as to fulfilling my requirements he insisted and was crude with me when said that I cannot say I do not want this set I became mad and was so angry and left the devil shop after I have wasted my money and then my nerve.I told him that I want to see his boss he said I am the the person in charge here. I am writing may my words reach decision maker who are concerned about the reputation of this shop really I like it but now I do not think so because of such not well trained officer to deal with customers ( the funny thing that this officer is supposed to deal with people and he does not have any skill to do such a job)
Bought a Samsung 32″ LCD TV from BD 3 years ago…no problem with it until recently discovered there was a burn mark which usually happens with plasma tvs and not lcd tvs…anyway, since my tv has an extended warranty, i called BD to get it fixed. Was promised that the technician would come in 3 days…but it took them 1 bloody month to come. Called the manager (Ricco) at the 1U outlet more than 20 times but always not in and never returning my calls despite leaving countless messages with his staff.
Finally after one month, the technician came to inspect the tv and was told he would get quotation and submit report to HQ for repairs. After 3 weeks no news..i had to call the technician to find out what happened. He said that the spare part needed to repair was not in production anymore. I was so fed up of calling i made a visit to the 1U outlet where i bought the tv to check on the status. Not surprising they didnt have any records and told me they would send a technician to my apartment. Irritated, i told them to call the warehouse to find out whats going on. They spoke to a Mr Ng and he confirmed that the tv cant be repaired and would propose a settlement which would most probably be a voucher to buy a new tv..i bought the tv for RM3400. Mr Ng said he would calculate the depreciation and submit to HQ and would be around RM2000 which would be sufficient to buy a new tv without extra cost….I will wait after the CNY holidays and call him again to get an update…i hope hes not bullshitting me and would get the tv soon.
My verdict for BD customer service: SUCKS TO THE CORE!!! Terrible after sales service!!!! Will not buy anything from there anymore. Will go to SenQ instead they seem to be a lot more helpful when i bought a washing machine from them.

fortunately i’ve read all ur comment… the best part is the thing i’ve ever bought in BD is my wife hair dryer last year… actually i planned to bought my electrical appliance @ BD coz its offer much low n fair pricecs, but when i know how bad their services are, i cancelled it… so annoying their service was….
to other who just feel been cheated, i suggest to all of u make a complaint to Consumer Tribunal… even if ur case will took 1-2 month to settle but u get ur fair judge…
On 9/4/2011, we went to BD outlet in Mid Valley. The Sales Asst. informed the selling price of Delonghhi convection oven – AOV 843 is RM900++. However, 2 days ago, I had called up BD in Sogo and confirmed the price is about RM869/859.The Sales Asst. called up BD in Sogo and confirmed the offer price is RM869. We agreed to buy a unit but no stocks in BD Mid Valley. The Sales Asst. agreed to book the unit in BD Sogo for us but we need to pay RM869 in BD Mid Valley.
When we reached BD in Sogo, the price tag is RM859 instead of RM869. We called up BD Mid Valley and the Sales Asst. in Mid Valley argued that we are the one who agreed to buy at RM869 and he is willing to refund the RM10 from “his owned pocket” but we need to go back to Mid Valley BD. Is it means that BD staff is trying to cheat customers and only refund if customers discovered it?
I am quite distressed to discover such immoral business practise in BD. In this case, BD HQ, pls keep the change on behalf of me!!!!!

Oh man.. I should have read this earlier.. As just purchased a Panasonic 42″ Plasma TV with them on yesterday nite.. This is the 1st time deal with them. Hope everything go smoothly.. I even purchased an 5 years extended warranty for that.. My past experience with shop like SenQ & SEC (32″ LCD 3 yeas ago).. Their after sales server is very good..the 32″ LCD has 5 years extended warranty.. And it has been send for repair twice.. They service is very fast.. Make a call and they come within 3 days…
wahhh…now i wanted to share my story too. just bought my VCD player yesterday at 1 utama. the sales person spoke to me very nicely and the dont event have a new stock. finally he asked me to get other brand, brand ‘S’ and i said okay. i paid for RM399 but before i make a payment, my husband ask me to test the vcd. infront of him the vcd working and when i go back, suddently i realised that he never takeout the tested vcd inside the deck. worst thing, i cannot open the panel and it stucked forever. when i send it back today to ‘worst denki’, he simpy said that was my fault and ask me to send it to the provider. OMG….
The shops is nice to see, big store, alot stocks, seem trusted place to shop. Only if I saw all this coments before I shops there, I won’t regret of the service I get after purchase. A lot follow up, ring many times but nobody pick up the call, when pick up call also need to ring back many times to track where is the stuff I bought that suppose reach me ealier. Waste my phone credit $. Very disappointed with the service I got from the shop, will be first time and the last time I shop there if still no any improvement made.
P/s: And one thing you NEED to know, they won’t give after sale service to set up whatever you bought from here.
it’s unbelievable reading all of your comments here because my experience with Best is very good. i bought a Philips 40″ LED from Best KLCC last week. and the price is RM2499. i was served by a promoter named Nov. a very good guy. he was very polite & knows what he was talking about. the Philips LED might not have a good design like Sony or Samsung. but i still buy it because the promoter showed me the picture quality is 10 times better than Sony/Samsung. and also Philips have 3 years warranty and not 2 years like Sony/Samsung. i was very happy with what i saw and i paid for it right away. the guy and one of the staff even helped me to carry the stock from their own store room straight to my car. and they never ask for money whatsoever. i’m very happy with their service & hopefully i won’t have any problems like most of you guys. i think i will buy from Best KLCC again in the future. thank you Nov!

I strongly recommeding all people to go to SenQ (SengHeng Elec) which is the best for electrical shopping. Please go to all SenQ outlets. We will no accept exchange or returns.
I have been shopping at Harvey Norman, Hock Sin Leong, HLK, SEN Q, Jusco and BEST Denki for years.
Of all the places, I only like Harvey Norman at Ikano, BEST Denki and Jusco. When I bought a Phillips set which failed on the 2nd day, I contacted Harvey Norman and had no problem exchanging for another new set. At BEST Denki, I purchased a Panasonic microwave convection oven however the base glass platter crack when I drove home. I called the BEST Denki and was offered a replacement, no hassles at all.
The worst dealer is SEN Q (Sunway) particularly when bringing the product back after discovering faults like missing cable and product not working! The salesman will talk to the supervisor/manager and you will get told to go to the manufacturer directly even if the product was brought back the next morning! This happen to me and my sister so we know what we are talking about. We resolved only after going to the consumer affairs! No more SEN Q!
Actually I have no problems with Best Denki Sdn Bhd. I ordered new airconditioner 3 moths ago only from Mid valley branch. It was delivered within the time (1-3pm afternoon) I asked. Installation was also done by their contractor the next day. No problem.
My new LED Tv was also delivered foc a few weeks ago. I tried to switch on the tv many times with remote and touching the on sensor button at the top but still could not. So I called Mr Noor Bahari at Best Denki (Subang Parade). He helped me by telling me there was at the extreme bottom which is sometimes set to off position at the factory. The box was sealed with plastic straps and factory seal when I received it so it is not possible to blame anybody in my case.
Best Denki is so much better now as the staff are now more on the ball compared to before from my view, it is better than many other electrical store today!

For me and my wife, Seng Heng Electrical is dangerous to do business. Smiling sweet words before you purchase but couldn’t care a less response after sales from Seng Heng management.
Best Denki, Tesco and Courts Mammoth have been our favourite electrical stores in KL.

Best Denki in SG Vivocity is terrible as well. I bought ALL my household products from them and there was a problem with the blender so i took it back.
It had a funny smell and it wasn’t working properly. In front of my kid this rat looking guy was giving me attitude saying there was nothing wrong with the blender. I told him that you can smell it, its not normal. He was so rude to me and in front of my kid, i just left without the blender and told him where to go.
Terrible service everywhere.

Reference is made to our Delivery Order No. 125166, dated 30/4/2011, issued by Best Denki KLCC during the Homedec Exhibition at KLCC Convention Centre. We bought Samsung PS50C6500 50” Series 6 Plasma, value of RM6999. They assured that delivery can be done much later, up to max 6 months from date of purchase.
On 8/7/2011 Friday, we had contacted the Sales Coordinator (Farid) to request for delivery of our purchased items. On 10/7/2011 Sunday, we received a call from the branch, stating that the production of the TV we purchased has been discontinued by Samsung. Addition to that, the branch had fully sold off the remaining stock of the TV, without considering our paid purchased. The branch had offered older & lower-valued TV models in exchange to the one we purchased (i.e. Series 4 model), of which, we had immediately rejected as we do not want to be treated unfairly.
Lastly, they delivered to us PS51D550 50” Series 5 Plasma TV, market value RM5500 and DVD Blu-Ray player RM399. Total value of delivered items only RM5,899.
Due to their mistake not keeping our PAID item in stock, they should not make us bear the loss.
We are claiming the equal value of the loss we had suffered: RM6999 – RM5899 = RM1100.
We had paid for a RM6999 valued TV and hence, should be receiving equal value of goods.
I am filing a claim to the Consumers Tribunal & if no action, I am not hesitant to file a police report as well.
DO NOT PURCHASE ELECTRICAL ITEMS (maybe besides cash & carry) from BEST DENKI KLCC.
I like shopping electrical goods from Jusco and Harvey Norman.
I heard of my friends say to me they had some bad experience with SenQ only. If goods have problem on first day at home, they will not take back or exchange. Also if give deposit to SenQ , they will not exchange for other items at promotion price if cannot get stock. Also no refund!
I AM CERTAINLY NOT VERY HAPPY WITH THE AFTER SALES SERVICES OF BEST DENKI @ SUBANG PARADE SUBANG JAYA.

AFTER 3 DAYS OF DELIVERING THE SMART TV , I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE DELIVERY OF THE BLUE RAY DVD PLAYER WHICH IS PART OF THE PURCHASE PACKAGE. REASON GIVEN – NO STOCK – WHICH IS RIDICULOUS!!!

I sympathized with many of you here! I too had some problems with Best and Senheng SenQ.
Best (OneUtama) did not want to have anything to do when I told them the product did not reach the temperature as expected of a normal fridge. This happen 3 days later when we received the new fridge.
SenQ was worse, they did not want to talk about the product we purchased when we went back to ask for help. The camera was only 2 days old and when almost everyone appear unnatural in hues and saturation colors despite settings adjustments, the SenQ manager (Bdr Sunway) said to send to the manufacturer center and walk off saying he had to attend to customers. There were no customers waiting! He couldn’t care a less and was uninterested.
I urged many would be consumers to be very wary and test the products carefully before parting with your hard earned money.
I strongly agree with many people here. For me DENKI, SEN Q ELECTRONICS AND ALL IT CITY are the worst of all. If they cannot make the offer as advertised in the newspapers, then do not mislead! So far, they do live up to their promises and all they want to do is sell and suck innocent people in. Please think twice before you made any purchase from DENKI, SEN Q ELECTRONICS AND ALL IT CITY.

What a surprise reading the complaints here. I will avoid SenQ and Best when doing my shopping next time. Two Sony products i bought this year konk out!!!!!
One is a Sony Blue ray player and the other is a Sony Bavaria. I feel very angry because they are so new and I am made to bring them to Sony. What a waste of time

I bought promotion rice cooker at BD, Subang Parade branch. As a customer, i didnt check the product before paid. I only realise the piece of shit was broken while i open it at home.
I called to KLCC branch the next day and asked if i can exchage at KLCC as it closer to my place. The person said NO. Than i called to Subang Parade branch. The officer from customer service voice is not clear (Maybe smoke too much), and he asked me did your warranty card is chopped? If YES, means you have open the box and why u didnt check it?? I told him the sale assistant who open the box. Than he asked me the name of the staff ,blah blah blah……. End up all this posting, i will be happy just to refund it.
A few months back, I bought a Sharp LCD 32″ from BD. Promotion price was RM999, same as Carrefour. Agreed on the purchase and ordered Black Colour, clearly written on the sales order as they have black or white. On delivery, to my horror, their delivery guy sent the white colour. I showed him my sales order stating black colour. He just try to be ignorant but lastly I just accepted the white colour unit as my old tv went kaput. Upon installation, he was supposed to set the tv channels but gave up as he said my condo reception was poor and suggested I buy additional antenna. In the end, he was just lazy AND I managed to set all the tv channels by myself. ZERO customer service.
i think they should change the name from ‘BEST’ to ‘WORST DENKI’.
i went to subang returned rice cooker on 1st Jan 2012.i realise they charge rm169 instead of rm99 as we saw. I bought it on 12th Dec. i question them and they said the promorion only started xmas.i argued with them they said mayb u see the wrong model.than i asked for refund.they said good is
only exchangeable.than supervisor said it only can refund within 7days.than he saud now we only can send for repair.and you have to come back to pick up again when repaired is done.than he said why u stil paid rm159 if u know promotion price…….blah bkah blah.i was furious and just step out from shop.without signing any document.how useless of them
The worst place to buy to me are Sen Q Sunway, HSL and Best Denki Subang.
If something is not working right on first day or second day, they will tell you all kind of stories and get you to go to the service center of the product bought. As far as they are concerned, they have washed their hands and it’s the responsibility of the purchaser and the company providing the warranty.
Now I go only to HARVEY NORMAN or Jusco. They will exchange or replace if the product delivered do not match the details on the order invoice. If the product have a factory quality problem out of the box, they will proceed to take care and replace as it is not the fault of the buyer.
It is better to go to places where they treat customers honestly like Harvey Norman and Jusco.
Harvey Norman have the most excellent customer service in Malaysia and Singapore. Sometime you might pay slightly more on non sale items but it is really worth it as it gives a peace of mind unlike the awful Best Denki and sneaky Sen Q dealer.
Im malaysian and now i an employee for best denki at singapore.Honestly,i work here for one year plus and i can promise that at singapore wont have such bad service at best denki.i work here as a second man.i still thinking whether want to go back malaysia to work at best denki.and now i dont think i will go back.=(dissapointed with those bad service given to customers.
I bought a fridge on 8th April2012. They delivered on 10th April with a damage fridge,promised to re-send on 11th. I have been calling but nobody picks up the call. Really frustrated as the phone number they provided is like a haunted number ,called endless of time but no one answer!!!! What a bad bad bad service they have. Should read the post here earlier, else wont buy from them!
i bought a washing machine and dyer from best denki at 1utama on the 5th Feb 2012. delivery on the 24thFeb 2012. They sent me a demo set . I called request to change a new 1 . They promise but no action. i have been so many time and complaint to the person in charge and even spoke to the manager. They answered ok… i will call you back . now worse still they don’t pick up call. What kind of service is this. they don’t bother after sale service.
I STRONGLY will not recommend all my friends to buy any product from best denki. such a lousy and bad service. No standard
