The Bangkok Bank in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was opened for business since January 1959 and that’s just 2 years after Malaysia gained independence.

It’s not a unique picture but a bit different thing about the Bangkok Bank building.
Bangkok means City of Deity in Thai but in Malay there is a word ‘bengkok’ that has similar sound with Bangkok.
‘Bengkok’ means ‘to bend’ and as you can see from the word Bangkok in the building, you will notice what I mean.
