Chinese New Year 2010 celebration is around the corner and the new year will be  ‘The Year of Tiger’.

The Chinese in Kuala Lumpur and nationwide Malaysia are busy preparing to celebrate this festival on February 14 2010 the same day with Valentine’s Day.

Lots of Chinese New Year stuff  sold at supermarkets in Kuala Lumpur are running out very fast such as  the lime trees (with fruits) that are used for decoration.

Another popular products will be the groundnuts and also the Mandarin oranges.

I never had an idea that china too will have such a proper new year festivals, they too celebrate it. The gifts you shown are really great if you have to present things to the chinese people.

Can anyone tell me the variety of the red pussy willow? Are the catkins died red or is that the natural colour?
