TM or Telekom Malaysia launched their High Speed Broadband internet (HSSB)  packages in March 2010.

The connection speed you can choose from the plan are 5, 10 and 20 Mbps.

Though some people say that Malaysia is still far behind when compared to its little Singapore neighbour, at least we can say it’s  ‘better late than never’ for this.

Personally, I think the cheapest 5 Mbps plan is still ‘pricey’ (RM149 monthly fee) to most Malaysians (consider the average Malaysians’ living cost and the salary) and for those heavy downloader, remember that there is 60 GB bandwidth (or data transfer) cap for this plan. Ever heard about My Home Hotel? This hotel is actually the budget hotel and they boast to be the Malaysia’s premier budget hotel chain.

As of this writing, their hotels can be found in Kota Damansara, Kuchai Lama, Setapak and also Shah Alam.

They are expanding and we will see the new ones after the above branches soon.

in Setapak, there are actually 2 My Home Hotels located just not far from each other and these outlets are called Setapak 1 and Setapak 2 respectively.

They are located at Jalan Usahawan 7, Off Jalan Kilang.
